What role do grandparents play in your children's life?
Our own relationship with our parents usually set the tone for the role grandparents can play in our children’s lives. Sometimes the birth of a child sparks a change, usually for the better but not always. Location factors in-- do they live close by? A car ride? Or do you need to take a plane? Are they technology savvy? Do you skype when they’re not able to visit? How grandparents respect parenting styles, and inspire us to parent all play into the relationship we support with our children. Lots of grandparent combinations are out there too-- step grandparents, divorced grandparents, and more.
