parent coaching
Parenting is one of the most inspiring roles we ever have, and even though it’s also one of the hardest things we ever do, it’s a challenge we can prepare for—like everything else. Preparing doesn’t mean we have a defined series of moves or tricks, it means we can set ourselves and our families up for success, do our best with most of the opportunities parenting life presents us with, and have the strength to deal with the inevitable surprises and complexities. It means accepting the inevitable messy moments, and getting good at moving forward.
Parent Coaching is the art of seeing the big parenting picture, understanding how it breaks down day to day, and helping each parent recognize his/her own goals, strengths, and challenges. A good coach understands the basics and can help you fill in gaps, and make slight adjustments that shift outcomes. A good coach is someone who helps you see your own true self, and inspires you to grow.
