As the world recalibrates and starts spending wisely, so can we. Parents teach children with spending habits, so we have a particular need to strike a thoughtful balance.
It’s taken me awhile to believe the airplane instructions “place the mask over your mouth first, and then over the mouth of your child”—and I'm not sure it's always first— but it’s a huge reminder not to forget, and to try to understand what it means to take care of yourself.
